Wild Strawberry Seeds fragaria vesca –is a pretty spring wildflower that grows in open woodland, and on hedge or road bank. In gardens it makes excellent ground cover, where it can be used under fences, hedges, on grass covered banks or within gaps in paving. Wild Strawberry grows well in most soils, but especially those that contain lime and are slightly damp throughout the year. Plants have attractive foliage and small creamy white flowers that appear from April to June attracting bees and other insects. Wild Strawberry can attract the Grizzled Skipper as a breeding butterfly in the wild, which will lay its eggs on the plant.
