We are able to offer the following 100% GRASS mixtures.
Each mix consists of a variety of commercially produced meadow grasses, native to the British Isles. If Native origin grasses are required then select our Low growing wild grass mix, consisting entirely of British native wild origin seed. The suggested sowing rate is 5 grams per square metre or 20 kg per acre for all grass mixtures. |

Woodland / Hedgerow (Meadow Grass mix) | The species in this 100% GRASS mixture are suitable in areas wherever the light level is not too high. eg. Orchards, hedgerows, and woodland glades. Sow at 5 grams per square metre or 20 Kgs per acre. |

Wet Soils (Meadow Grass mix) | A 100% GRASS mixture of species that are frequently found on low lying areas subject to winter flooding. Sow at 5 grams per square metre or 20 Kgs per acre. |

Chalk & Limestone (Meadow Grass mix) | A 100% GRASS mixture containing many native chalk grassland species. Suitable for low fertility soils where there are a large proportion of visible chalk or limestone pieces. Sow at 5 grams per square metre or 20 Kgs per acre. |

General purpose (Meadow Grass mix) | A low cost 100% GRASS mixture with a limited range of species suitable for most situations and soil types. Sow at 5 grams per square metre or 20 Kgs per acre. |

Clay/Loam Soils (Meadow Grass mix) | A 100% GRASS mix suitable for a range of soils from heavy clay to light loams. Sow at 5 grams per square metre or 20 Kgs per acre. |

Sandy Soils (Meadow Grass mix) | This 100% GRASS mixture contains many deep rooted species which are well suited to surviving on free draining soils which are prone to drought during drier spells. Sow at 5 grams per square metre or 20 Kgs per acre. |

Tussock forming (Meadow Grass mix) | A mixture of robust tussock forming GRASSES for arable field margins and other areas where soil fertility is high. An ideal habitat for small mammals, birds, amphibians etc. which in turn attract birds of prey eg. Barn Owls. Sow at 5 grams per square metre or 20 Kgs per acre. |

Pond Edge (Meadow Grass mix) | This 100% GRASS mixture can be sown within a couple of metres of water bodies such as streams, ponds, or ditches. Sow at 5 grams per square metre or 20 Kgs per acre. |

Acid Soils (Meadow Grass mix) | A 100% GRASS mixture for areas where the soil is below PH6, such as Greensand Southern Heaths, or Upland Peats. Sow at 5 grams per square metre or 20 Kgs per acre. |

Low growing Wild grasses | A 100% GRASS mixture consisting of 100% British native wild origin grass seed. Sow at 5 grams per square metre or 20 Kgs per acre. |
