We are able to offer the following MEADOW MIXTURES all rich with colourful Wild Flowers.
The contents of the various different mixes have been specifically selected to recreate the flowery hay meadows of yesteryear, 
and suit the various soil types likely to be encountered.
Each mixture consists of 80% grass seed & 20% wildflower mixture
Our suggested sowing rate is 4 grams per square metre or 16 kg per acre for all  grass/wildflower  mixtures.
All wildflowers seeds in our mixtures are of native wild British origin.
Our mixtures are also suitable for landscaping & habitat restoration.

Woodland / Hedgerow (Wildflower & grass mix) The species in this mixture are suitable for areas wherever the light level is not too high. eg. Orchards, hedgerows, and woodland glades. Sow at 3-4 grams per square metre or 10-16 Kgs per acre.
Wet Soils (Wildflower & grass mix) A mixture of species that are frequently found on low lying areas subject to winter flooding. Sow at 3-4 grams per square metre or 10-16 Kgs per acre.
Chalk & Limestone Soils (Wildflower & grass mix) A mixture containing many beautiful native chalk grassland species. Suitable for low fertility soils where there are a large proportion of visible chalk or limestone pieces.Sow at 3-4 grams per square metre or 10-16 Kgs per acre.
Basic Meadow (Wildflower & grass mix) A low cost mixture with a limited range of species suitable for most situations and soil types. Sow at 3-4 grams per square metre or 10-16 Kgs per acre.
Clay Soils (Wildflower & grass mix) Suitable for heavy soil containing lumps of clay that are generally hard to break up. Sow at 3-4 grams per square metre or 10-16 Kgs per acre.
Loamy Soils (Wildflower & grass mix) Contains a mixture of species suited to well drained loamy soils, typical of lowland meadows. Such soils are usually light and easily crumbled. Sow at 3-4 grams per square metre or 10-16 Kgs per acre.
Sandy Soils (Wildflower & grass mix) This mixture contains many deep rooted species which are well suited to surviving on free draining soils which are prone to drought during drier spells. Sow at 3-4 grams per square metre or 10-16 Kgs per acre.
General Purpose (Wildflower & grass mix) Contains a good range of species found in a diverse range of habitat and soil types. Sow at 3-4 grams per square metre or 10-16 Kgs per acre.
Fertile Soil (Wildflower & grass mix) A mixture of robust wildflowers for arable field margins and other areas where soil fertility is high. An ideal habitat for small mammals, birds, amphibians etc. which in turn attract birds of prey eg. Barn Owls. After the first year the mixture can be left uncut and allowed to form a tussocky structure. Sow at 3-4 grams per square metre or 10-16 Kgs per acre.
Pond Edge (Wildflower & grass mix) This mixture can be sown within a couple of metres of water bodies such as streams, ponds, or ditches. Sow at 3-4 grams per square metre or 10-16 Kgs per acre.
Acid Soils (Wildflower & grass mix) For areas where the soil is below PH6, such as Greensand Southern Heaths, or Upland Peats. Sow at 3-4 grams per square metre or 10-16 Kgs per acre.
Cornfield Annuals (standard 100% wildflowers) A 100% WILDFLOWER mixture of Cornfield annuals to provide instant colour where a short term effect is desired. Also suitable as NURSE CROPS for perennial meadow mixture sowings giving spectacular flowering in the first year and reducing weed invasion. Sow at 2 grams per square metre or 8 Kgs per acre. Cornfield annuals should be sown onto bare soil and will not work if sown into established grass.
